Frequently Asked Questions at The Next Wave Printing:

Q: What kinds of files may I have printed?

A: We accept .pdf .eps files most commonly with crops and bleeds already specified. We are, however, usually able to accept .indd (Adobe InDesign), .ai (Adobe Illustrator), and .psd (Adobe PhotoShop) files with an extra charge.

Q: How come the photos that I pulled off the internet are so blurry when printed?

A: Naughty naughty- web images aren’t there for stealing and using in print files. You have to have high resolution images for printing- 300 dpi or higher usually. That means either having the original photo- or paying us to do our magic to enhance and enlarge a picture.

Q: How long will it take to get my business cards (or postcards, menus, posters, printed material etc.) in the mail?

A: Print jobs such as menus, posters and one-sheets with less than 200 quantity can be printed while you wait at The Next Wave headquarters. Print jobs that need to be cut from a standard-size piece of paper (such as business cards), or jobs with large quantities (250+) will take anywhere from 1 – 5 days depending on the job and the location to which it will be delivered.

Q: Will The Next Wave Printing ship to PO Boxes?

A: No, we are unable to ship to PO Boxes, but Dayton residents can pick up their orders from The Next Wave Printing at 100 Bonner Street in Dayton, Ohio.

Q: Shipping?

A: We can ship to anywhere in the USA- however, rates vary depending on distance.

Q: I don't know how to create a press ready file - what do I do?

A: No problem- we do it all the time, and we can give you an exact quote for what the design fee will be based off what you are needing. It helps if you have samples of things similar to what you want.

Q: Why are your printing prices so low?

A: We buy in volume- and get amazing prices. We pass those prices on to our clients- which we hope you will become. Check out www.thenextwave.biz to see the kind of work we do.
